MUSIC PRODUCERS EXPERIENCE 'A CHANGE' June 22, 2005 (San Francisco, CA) -- At last Mictunes is pleased to announce the release of their highly anticipated debut gospel album. Although this is their first album, the title A Change signifies the impact their music has on them and what they intend for it to have on its listeners. The 8-track CD, which was made available for public listening on May 28th, 2005, has found itself on constant repeat in the stereos of its listeners.

Employing the vocals of MacKinley Stacker, Renee Credle, Funmi Olasokan, John Olajide as well as others, this vocal/instrumental CD serves as a well-rounded spiritual force in its diverse sounds. Their music draws influences from various genres not limited to R&B, Jazz, Electric, Hip hop and more. Mictunes completes the wholeness of their album by drawing from their Nigerian backgrounds, infusing various African sounds as can be seen in such tracks as "Gbega" and "Ta Lo Da Bire".

Mictunes celebrated their album release with a performance of the single "Most High" at the Redeemed Christian Church of God convention in Madison Square Garden on Thursday June 16th. As one of the tracks that incorporate vocals, "Most High" stands out as the immediate audience favorite of the 8-track CD. But that is not to speak less of the other tracks of the albums as each track brings with it a freshness and uniqueness of its own. "It's a faithful journey that has just begun; a journey with Christ." Mictunes is convergence of music producers and composers Michael Dada and Tunde Olaose who first met at the Redeemed Christian Church of God in Brooklyn, New York in 2003. Armed with a similar love for creating Hip hop and R&B music the two decided to come together and express another passion that they both shared- God.

Following much anticipation of works from both producers individually, it is a pleasure to get an album that is a collaboration of both talents. The album is undoubtedly one that will be a worthy addition to Gospel music archives as well as a blessing to its fans.
